I took this photo using the Nikkor 85mm f1.8D at MK Trading. It convinced to get a prime lens in the near future. The image quality of a fixed lens is really remarkable. A 50mm f1.8 will be enough for my portrait photography. With a wide aperture it will be fast enough even for available light photography.

f1.8! wowie, that's steeg. how much is that?!
the 50mm 1.8 is 475 dirhams at grandstores..the 85mm 1.8 is 1600 dirhams at MK.
