Tony's Nice Rack

After the tiring window shopping and picture taking, my mouth found its way to Tony's rack. I tell you guys, Tony's rack was the best meat I ever had. It was juicy and tender. It took me only few minutes to devour on her flesh. Good thing though that she did not put up a fight. Tony's rack is highly recommended, best 63 Dirhams you'll ever spend. It comes with mash potatoes in melting butter and chopped chives and steamed brocolli.

Lights of Ibn Battuta

The torches of light that illuminated the paths of Ibn Battuta's journeys.

The Assignment

So the Professor ask us to do an assignment on shutter speed, depth of field and selective focus, these could be the ones I'll submit for the next meeting. It will be a good upportunity to test the print result of my camera. The photos were taken at Qanat Al Qasba in Sharjah on my way home after dropping my wife and Mahal to work.

Flower Puff

I love the flowers that they cultivate in parks and roundabouts here in the UAE. When they plant it it looks like just a bunch of weeds but when they bloom, oh they are so pretty. If my Mom was here, I'm sure she'll pull out some and put on pots and take them to her garden in the Philippines.

Sunset Park

After work I took my kids to the nearby park so that they can run around. One of the drawbacks in living in the heart of the city is the lack of space in your flat. The park is the next best thing for stretching those muscles. I just asked my wife to follow us there since her office is just across the park. It was not one of those artsy fartsy photoshoots, but some of the pics turned out decent enough. The sunset was taken by my wife. I'm afraid the days of my camera monopoly is about to end.

Race The Sun

Pusod

Power up

Zoom

I was trying the same trick last night but the result didn't turned out great because there weren't enough cars on the roundabout. So I tried it again during the Friday night rush, I was happy how the pic turned out. Next time I'll try this effect again but with a decent backround, maybe a nice skyline or something.

Light Trap

I got myself a new 'light trap' above are some of the pics while tinkering with my new toy. I should be able to update this blog regularly so drop by whenever you are online.
